The primary focus of the Air Care Business Office is facilitation and management of the accounts receivable. Air Care maintains and manages all accounts relating to patient transports. In conjunction to these functions, the patient transport records reside with the Business Office. This ensures all requests pertaining to patient information remain in compliance with strict federal HIPAA regulations pertaining to patient confidentiality.

In addition to accounts receivable management, the Business Office provides West Michigan Air Care many other administrative support functions.  These include clerical assistance, purchasing, accounts payable, human resources, computer network management services and hands-on regional marketing assistance.
